Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon pickle relish (optional)
- Mini burger buns or slider buns
- Toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, etc.
Instructions:
- Prepare Tater Tots:
- Cook tater tots according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Set aside.
- Cook Beef Mixture:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and drain any excess fat.
- Assemble Cheeseburgers:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, shredded cheddar cheese, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and pickle relish (if using).
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Fill Buns:
- Place the bottom halves of the mini burger buns on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto each bun, spreading it evenly.
- Top each with a few tater tots.
- Bake:
- Place the filled buns in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are slightly toasted.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and top each mini burger with lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, or any preferred toppings.
- Place the top half of the bun on each mini burger.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
