Garlic Flatbreads
Ingredients:
- For the dough:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup warm water
- For the garlic butter:
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add the yogurt and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Gradually add warm water, mixing until a soft dough forms. You may not need all the water, so add it slowly.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
