Here’s a delicious recipe for Cinnamon Cream Cheese Cookies:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz (113g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¾ cups (345g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
- ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and cream cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Add sugar, egg, and vanilla: Beat in the granulated sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Shape the cookies: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar for coating, then roll each cookie dough ball in the mixture.
- Bake: Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Use the bottom of a glass to slightly flatten each ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy!
