Ingredients:
- Chicken Marinade:
- 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Stir-Fry:
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, minced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 4 cups cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Marinate the Chicken:
- In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced chicken breast with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Prepare the Stir-Fry Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and chicken broth (or water). Set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Chicken:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until it’s cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the wok and set aside.

- Return the cooked chicken to the wok. Pour the stir-fry sauce over the chicken and vegetables, and mix everything well.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, add the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
