Here’s a delicious recipe for Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta:
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 6 strips of bacon, chopped
- 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne, rigatoni, or your choice)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Bacon:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet.
- Cook the Chicken:
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. In the same skillet with the bacon grease, add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, then stir in the ranch seasoning mix. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Reduce the heat to low and add the shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve:
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
