Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Patties:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Toppings:
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Red onion slices
- Pickles
- Ranch dressing
- Additional shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
For the Buns:
- 4 burger buns, toasted
Instructions:
- Prepare the Chicken Patties:
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, green onions, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Cook the Chicken Patties:
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Lightly oil the grill or skillet to prevent sticking.
- Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Assemble the Burgers:
- Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
- Add a chicken patty on top of the lettuce.
- Top with tomato slices, red onion slices, pickles, and additional shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
- Drizzle with ranch dressing.
- Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve:
- Serve the burgers immediately with your favorite side dishes like fries, coleslaw, or a salad.
