French Dip Sliders Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Sliders:
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
- 1/4 cup horseradish sauce (optional)
For the Au Jus:
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup dry sherry or red wine (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Topping:
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Au Jus:
- In a medium saucepan, combine beef broth, sherry or red wine (if using), Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Keep warm on low heat while you prepare the sliders.
- Prepare the Sliders:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider buns or Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops connected to each other and the bottoms connected to each other.
