Garlic Lemon Lobster Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 lobster tails
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat
Instructions:
- Prepare the Lobster Tails:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the middle to the tip of the tail, avoiding the meat. Pull the shell apart slightly to expose the meat.
- Gently lift the meat, keeping it attached at the base, and rest it on top of the shell. This makes it easier to cook and eat.
- Make the Garlic Lemon Butter:
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the lemon zest and juice, and let it simmer for another 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste. If you like a bit of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Baste and Bake the Lobster:
- Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet.
- Generously brush the lobster meat with the garlic lemon butter, ensuring it’s well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly firm to the touch. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).
- Serve:
- Once done, remove the lobster tails from the oven and give them one last brush with any remaining garlic lemon butter.
- Garnish with additional fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
- Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes, like a fresh salad, grilled vegetables, or a creamy risotto.
Enjoy your luxurious garlic lemon lobster!
